290 VIPER SXT!!!
Looking
for something to put a little excitement in your high
performance boating? This is it....Cobra's brand new
290 Viper SXT.....a totally new concept in performance
hull design. It's not a cat or a true air-entrapment
tunnel....instead it's a modified vee hull with ventilating
steps and stabilizing sponsons. And yes, it's really
29-feet long and designed for single engine stern drive
applications. It accelerates and turns (banks to the
inside) like a vee, but has the speed and stability
of a cat. You have to ride in it to believe it!! The
first 290 Viper SXT has already been water tested, and
it's sensational! Powered by a single Ilmore V-10 Viper
engine (625 HP) and a Teague Platinum Bravo style drive,
top speed is in excess of 90 miles an hour and it's
still being dialed in! Handling and ride comfort are
superb at all speeds. Acceleration is exceptional, and
you won't find a better cornering boat on the market.
